Training School late summer 2021 update

The Chinese government has made some significant regulatory changes to the education industry.

  1. Students under the age of 6 cannot  enroll in training schools
  2. Schools can no longer provide training classes on weekends for primary and middle school students in the core subjects such as English, Chinese, Math and Sciences
  3. Schools cannot provide training  during the holidays including winter and summer breaks
  4. Face to face classes must be completed by 8:30 during the week and online classes must be completed by 9
  5. Online classes companies cannot use teachers outside of China
  6. All training schools will become not for profits and cannot be listed on stock exchanges, etc

These regulations were suggested for the following reasons:

1. Students need to be relieved of some of the academic pressures

2. Parents will have less expenditures thus allowing for multiple births with parents now allowed to have up to 3 children.
