Church Update November 2022
This is the update for November 2022. The Church is still meeting via zoom each Sunday afternoon. The services are recorded and posted on our Facebook and Youtube channel. Please feel free to listen and/or include comments and or questions. The lesson last week was on Leah and other minor characters in the Bible. We also just completed a series on mentorship with emphasis on Elijah and Elisha. The bottom line is that we all need a mentor and we should all be mentoring someone. During the past couple of months we officiated a wedding and had several babies added to our flock. We are truly blessed.
The Bible Institute continues to grow as we now have more than 100 individuals registered in the program. Students are represented from countries like Botswana, Australia, Nepal, China and the United States among other countries. Also we had a baptism and we were able to baptize in the sea again this year. What an experience. At the same time we were going out into the sea someone said that a pastor drowned baptizing in the sea near his house in NC. As a non-swimmer. I was a little apprehensive.
