Kenya School
The school in Kenya is going well as we still have around 100 students. Some of the families are being really challenged now due to the drought and rising food prices. The war in Ukraine has hit the crop prices and prices are now double or even more for items such as maize and beans. I did not realize the amount of grain that is imported into Africa and the affect that the war has on the economy there. In fact some of our students are actually only guaranteed meals when they come to school. Our Church has provided some outreach to the affected families but more is still needed.
